About Us
Our Background
ATC Academy Sdn Bhd has been in operation for 17 years since its first
establishment on June 25, 2009 and was inaugurated on 2 March 2010 by YB Dato Sri Dr. Subramaniam, Minister of Human Resources at the time.
ATC College is a training center accredited by the Department of Skill
Development (DSD) under the Ministry of Human Resources (MOHR), Skill Development Fund Corporation (PTPK) and Human Resources Development Corporation (HRDCorp).
ATC College is one of the largest & well recognized welding colleges in Malaysia.
ATC college had achieved 2000 graduates.

ATC College with this highly competent program, always ensures the quality of teaching and practical training which make it easier for employees to venture into the world of work either domestically or abroad.
Providing infrastructure facilities and a quality-based learning environment in accordance with the standards of the National Vocational Training Council (MLVK) and the Department of Occupational Health Safety, Malaysia (JKKP).

Director's Speech
First and foremost, I would like to express my deepest gratitude and sincere appreciation to all individuals who are interested in pursuing their studies in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET). ATC College warmly welcomes new students to enroll in the Malaysian Skills Certificate (SKM) and Malaysian Skills Diploma (DKM) programmes in Welding and Metal Fabrication fields that are highly relevant and competitive in meeting current industry demands.
I would also like to extend my highest appreciation to the Ministry of Human Resources (KSM) and its agencies, namely the Department of Skills Development (JPK), Skills Development Fund Corporation (PTPK), and Human Resource Development Corporation (PSMB), for their continuous commitment in advancing the skills sector and aligning training strategies and programmes to strengthen the nation’s skilled workforce.
Our sincere thanks also go to our competency certification partners such as SIRIM Berhad, Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB), and The Welding Institute (TWI), for their role in assessing and awarding competency certifications in welding to our trainees. We also deeply appreciate our industry partners who have provided
valuable opportunities for industrial training and job placements for ATC College graduates.
In line with the MADANI government’s aspiration to develop highly skilled and competent human capital, ATC College remains committed to offering industry-relevant programmes. Since its establishment, ATC College has successfully produced more than 2,000 skilled and competitive TVET graduates.

Milestones of Excellence
- ATC ACADEMY SDN BHD established Advance Training Centre in Shah Alam on 25hb Jun 2009.
- ATC College has successfully conducted ‘Train and Place’ TPS Scheme in Shah Alam and Johor for the unemployed, which was introduced by the Ministry of Human Resources for 100 participants for the certification course Welding (1G / 6G), 25 exhibitors for QA & QC Welding Supervisor and 25 participants for Welding Inspector within a period of 3 months with a monthly fee and hostel facilities sponsored by the government.
- ATC College has been selected and successfully run a program for ‘Extended Indian Youth Programmed under the Ministry of Human Resources for 50 participants in the field of Maintenance Management and NDT Technician.
- ATC College has also been selected and successfully run under the Department of Skill Development Program, the National Dual Training System (SLDN) to help 25 participants from industry to improve skills in the field of welding.
ATC College has also registered and recognized by the Department of Skills (JPK) under the Ministry of Human Resources (MHR) as a Certified Training Centre (PLB) to run the program skills to (H-024) Welder & Technicians Shielded Metal Arc Welding for Level 1, 2 & 3 in august 2010
ATC College has also registered and recognized as a Training Provider (PL) of the Skills Development Fund (PTPK) to help ease the burden of the poor to pursue their skills under the Department of Skills Development (JPK) in 2011
ATC College also run Malaysian Skills Certificate (SKM) course code H-024-3 and has recruited 70 students.
ATC College has successfully run Malaysian Skills Certificate program and has recruited 242 students.

ATC College has organized a strategic partnership agreement with TWI
Till 2017, ATC College also has successfully been accredited with new 6 programs under Department of Skills Development. The programs as following:

- MC-026-3:2012 Gas Tungsten Arc Welding Process
- MC-027-3:2012 Flux Core Arc Welding Process

- MC-024-4 Welding Technology Management
ATC College training center has trained 15 trainees under the special funding of PTPK for the B40. They have also been placed in the industry with a better salary
